Custom Order Description

  1. Production Time - Artwork must be approved first.
Most production times are 8 to 10 days from the time art is approved. Art must be created or put into a useable format before we can imprint anything. Once the artwork is approved by you, the order and art requirements are passed onto the production facility.

  2. Artwork Format
The best format to supply custom logos and artwork is "eps". EPS files are "vector" files and can be resized and modified without distorting the logo itself. We can add copy (words) to supplied logos and artwork. All artwork is proofed via fax or email to you before we produce anything. We can create artwork and recreate logos. This takes artist time and may cost additional. We can set type if you simply provide us with the wording you want. We will set the type in a pleasing manner and show you a proof.

If you have an art file other than an .eps (i.e. .pdf, .doc, .pdf or high resolution, .tif, .gif, etc.), please provide it.  Sometimes our artists can use these files. If not, at least we can see what you want and we can recreate the art from there (if you choose).

When describing or showing us what you want the imprint to look like, describe it and then lay it out:

Example:

three lines:  place star above "e" in "senate"
line1:   Bob (Big Type)
line 2:  for (Small Type)
line 3:  Senate (medium type)

You can fax a hand drawn design or a typed sheet. email to sales@demotore.com or fax to:

  1. Art proofs are faxed or emailed. Make sure to provide us with your email address and your fax number (we need both).

  2. Artwork Fees
    EPS files (
Adobe® Illustrator® or QuarkXPress) are the preferred graphic file format for the best resolution.  Art charges may apply for .pdf or high resolution, .pdf or faxed submissions. Only camera-ready art, in EPS file format, is guaranteed without an art charge.  You will be contacted for your proof authorization, before your card is charged.

  3. Rush Service
If you need your order delivered in less than ten (10) working days, please indicate "rush" on your order. Submit your order with all of the needed information. We will contact you regarding delivery schedules and artwork requirements. Make sure to provide us with all necessary details including artwork description and files.

  4. Order Process
When you order is received in our office, it is matched with the artwork you have emailed or faxed separately.  The order is processed and the factory is contacted regarding production times and artwork requirements.  Art is forwarded and checked for usefulness.

Your credit card is authorized (not charged) for the order including all costs (set-up, shipping, etc). You will receive an authorization via fax.  You must sign this form and fax it back to our office.  Acknowledgements are emailed and faxed to you and you may receive a call with questions.

We then produce an artwork proof for your review. It is important for you to check this carefully. Errors do occur, and if we are creating or recreating artwork, do not rely on our artists to spell names and other words correctly. Check your art proof carefully.

After your art is approved, your order is sent to production. Then your order is shipped. We use United Parcel Service, Ground Service for all orders unless you authorize us to ship via UPS RED (Overnight), Blue (2nd Day Air) or Brown (3 Day Select). These services will incur additional costs.

Overruns and Underruns are a nature of the industry.  For example, if we screen print 150 mugs and put them in the oven, 5 may break, thus you may get 140 mugs or 148, even though you ordered 144.  This is true with all custom printed items.  With paper items like stationary, envelopes, etc., overruns are often not charged (paper is cheaper than coffee mugs).  We bill for overruns and credit you for underruns – meaning, we bill only for what we ship.

We charge your card after your order ships to you. We mail you a copy of your invoice and copy of your credit card receipt.
